As someone who really loves doing hair and makeup, I also love the more simple beauty routine that vacation usually demands. I’d much rather spend that extra 45 minutes outside by the pool instead of making sure my hair looks the way I want it to look.
I packed my makeup bag with my essentials for a simple makeup look that I’d feel comfortable in for daytime or evening.

My routine was: Apply plenty of moisturizer, mix a bit of sheer foundation with a glow-boosting bronzing cream, run a touch of eyeliner along my upper lash line, fill in brows, punch up the blush a bit more than usual, add highlighter to my cheekbones, forehead, and eyelids, then finish with mascara and a sheer pink lipstick. Adding a bronzing primer into your foundation, or simply wearing it on its own is the easiest and fastest way to glow without damaging sunburn. I mixed a NARS product that I have, though it was a limited edition and is now sold out. However, this liquid bronzer by NARS is a similar product.
