I love skincare, at the moment it’s very much by beauty junkie obsession of choice. With the reason being that if my skin is looking good then I can put less makeup on. Which makes day to day a little easier and that for me is a total win. The ‘OG’ of the whole ‘cheap good skincare’ thing has to be The Ordinary. If ever there was a brand who shook up the skincare industry I would say this is it. Taking the key ingredients, demystifying them and selling them for a reasonable cost. They really captured something special and it’s not surprising they have some of the best affordable products out there.
My personal favourite from The Ordinary is the 30% AHA + BHA 2% Peeling Solution. The scary looking blood-like formula applies to the face and tingles away, giving a good exfoliation in just a few minutes (no more than 10) to leave skin feeling fresh and glow. I also really like the texture of The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser – a great option if you want a cleanser with added hydrating.
