I recently helped my friend accessorize for her son’s wedding. She picked a gorgeous one-shoulder dress and I helped her choose shoes, a bag, and jewelry. It was *so* fun.

If you have a formal event to attend soon, I found a few gorgeous dresses to consider! I love a dress with sleeves so I don’t have to worry about adding a layer for warmth. And for shoes and a bag, a formal event is an easy reason to lean into the silver accessories that are on trend right now.

The best advice I can give, though, is to find a seamstress or at least a recommendation of one! It can be difficult to find a well fitting formal gown so having a seamstress you trust to make adjustments is key!
