I took Emily to a local place to have her picture taken for a passport that we need for a trip next year and it was 30 minutes of her pretending to be an actual monkey unable to be still for the camera.
So I thought I’d just take them myself but as it turns out, when you ask your kids *not* to smile for a picture, all they are able to do is ham it up and laugh hysterically. So while we may or may not have passport photos, at least I know how to get the kids to smile in upcoming Christmas card photos by telling them to keep a straight face and not smile!
