I've said it a hundred times already, but I honestly can't believe how close to Christmas we now are. This year has flown by at the speed of light and I'm possibly the most disorganised I've ever been in my life; we've spent every weekend away for the past month and our festive season has been filled with weddings, Christmas markets, concerts, shopping trips and so much more. The result has undoubtedly been me in a constant state of panic that I'm under-delivering at work, forgetting about what's going on in my personal life, failing miserably at wrapping any presents and trying to prep for 2018 when actually all I want to do is wrap up in a blanket and hibernate until March. Whatever happens, I can't wait to spend a few days with my nearest and dearest and ring in my 35th birthday with a crate of prosecco this weekend. (Yep, annoying Xmas Eve baby over here!)
In the spirit of all things festive, I thought I'd give you a little look at what I'm planning to wear on the big day - including this velvet pleated midi dress of dreams that I've started seeing pop up all over my Instagram feed of late.
