Hot Drink Recipes For A Cold Cosy Day
I live for this time of year as it means several cosy afternoons and evenings in. Pass me the blanket and the remote stat!
Anyways, the perfect companion for one of these cosy days/evenings is a hot drink - obviously. Today I thought I'd share two of my favourites that I make when I'm chilling in front of a Christmas film. Here we have a hot chocolate recipe and a dairy free latte - so let's get started.
Chocolate Orange Hot Chocolate
I had a chocolate Orange hot chocolate when I was in town a couple of weeks ago and decided I wanted to re create it at home. I found it pretty easy to do, and at Christmas, Terry's Chocolate Oranges are one of your five a day, just so you know.
You Will Need : Milk of choice (Oat Milk for me) Terry's Chocolate Orange (either the full size or mini bites like I have)Hot Chocolate Powder (Cadbury's is my fave)Whipped Cream
What You Need To Do :All you need to do is pop your milk in to a saucepan and gently heat it up. Start to drop in pieces of Terry's Chocolate Orange into the milk and stir in as it melts. Add a couple of teaspoons of the Hot Chocolate Powder into the milk and keep adding chocolate orange slices till you get your desired taste. You'll only need a few orange pieces, I found about 5 of the mini segments made the perfect taste!
