Glossier Lidstar Glistening Eye Glow Review!
So much for not making spontaneous beauty purchases. Â I got an email informing me of Glossier?s newest release, the Lidstar Glistening Eye Glow, which is essentially a liquid eyeshadow and I couldn?t stop myself from ordering some colours to try.Â
See, I am a big fan of cream formulas and I love shimmers. Â There are 6 shades in the range and I bought 2, then subsequently bought two more – it?s a bit of a mixed bag I have to say.Â
Here are the 6 shades, which are all fairly neutral, pretty colours:
Now before these were on general release, a very impressive list of stars had worn it on the Oscars red carpet.
Glossier are definitely very good at getting features on famous faces!Â
These are £15 each or you can get two for £25. I was lucky enough to have £10 credit from when someone used my code to make a purchase (thank you whoever you are) so it was a steal at £15 for two and free shipping. I chose Fawn, a warm taupe and Herb, a golden green.Â
I?ve seen quite a few funny comments about the packaging looking like test tubes and those 99p lipsticks you buy from China on eBay. Â I actually thought it was cute but when I got it in my hand – yes it does look a little cheap (feels it too) and the sponge tip is a little hard and cheap feeling. Even so it is not the end of the world (I think I would?ve liked this in a tube). Â
