Four “Staple” Footwear Options for Fall
Of the footwear purchases I’ve made in the past, the ones I regret the most are colorful ones. In the summer I’m always tempted by red espadrilles or bolder sandals, but I find that they end up just sitting in my closet the majority of the time! I’d so much rather have a neutral shoe that I can wear with a handful of different items than one particular shoe that only goes with an outfit or two.
So, with that in mind, I naturally lean towards neutral and easy to wear footwear for the upcoming season. One pair is a shoe that I’ve had for years, and the others are just more updated takes on classics, in my opinion.
Four “staple” footwear options for Fall:
One. Slip-on sneakers. (Pair pictured, Budget option) I have loved the leather Vince slip-on sneakers I’ve had for years. I purchased a new pair as my older pair was starting to look a little rough, but I kept the older pair for the days I wanted to wear a slip-on and not really care if it got dirty. Dr. Scholl’s makes a similar and very comfortable option of this style of shoe too! Two. Slingbacks. (Pair pictured, Similar option) I am simply not a mule girl, but I wanted a pair of flat shoes to wear throughout the fall that still felt dressed up. These slingbacks are comfortable and I love the subtle heel detail too!
Three. Ankle booties. (Pair pictured, Budget option) I typically don’t like to exceed a heel of around 2 inches but these are so comfortable to wear that ...
