The Review: Nars Narsissist Power Pack Lip Kit
I had never tried Nars’ Lip Pigments before this power pack duo. The lip pigment is basically the same thing as a lip paint – goes on matte, stays on for hours. But I’ve got to be honest, the Nars Lip Pigments have such great color and stay on hours and hours past other similar competitors; through Kombucha, wine tasting, vaping (hey, at least it’s better than smoking), dinner, and…. you know.
The Nars Power Pack Lip Kit is a duo of mini warm nudes that give great color. I actually prefer the mini size as they fit comfortably in a small clutch. Hot Blooded, a new launch, is a terracotta nude (second pic in slideshow is the color swatches; Hot Blooded is the brighter one with hints of orange) and Get It On, a tan rose nude that literally is the best pigmented nude I have ever painted my pout with. It’s less beige and more pink, so it reads natural with punch, instead of almost-dead. I don’t know how I’ve lived this long without it. Also to note: the formulas, although matte, weren’t drying. In fact, my lips didn’t flake or crack once while wearing either shade. It’s like the perfect lip paint, and, if nude is your vibe, you won’t want to miss out on this limited-edition wear-everywhere duo.
Coming up, a review on Nars’ blush set (also pictured above).
