You may have noticed that there wasn’t a post yesterday. If you didn’t notice then – quite frankly – I know that you don’t love me as much as you say you do.
Ha.
I have decided that from now on, unless I suddenly manage to find a pocket of free time that has hitherto been miraculously concealed from me, I will not be doing a website post on Saturdays. I’m going to take Saturday as a weekly holiday. Sundays are always busy, with the Sunday Tittle Tattle and my Sunday video, and I often find that unless I’m careful (and very organised) I end up working seven days a week. And you have to try and have at least one work-free day, otherwise all of your friends and family begin to simply give up on you. So on Saturdays I have decided that I will have a complete computer ban – I may even stop checking my iPhone, because it’s often looking at Twitter and Instagram that sets me off on a work spiral. Something will remind me of a post I haven’t published or a friend I didn’t tweet back or a face cream I need to research. And then, before I know it, it’s 8pm and the day has slipped through my fingers.
