Summertime is winding down but I hope you stocked up on fresh fruit while it was in season! I really wanted to go blueberry picking with the boys this summer but we just couldn’t swing it.
We did find some great strawberries and really yummy blueberries at the farmers market though. Oddly, I usually get good peaches at the farmers market but this year was a total dud. I found awesome peaches at Costco though, so that sufficed for this year! I shared a muffin recipe years and years ago but I had to resurrect it again in honor of this season. If you still have fresh fruit, use that! If you froze some fruit, let it thaw at room temperature on some paper towels to absorb some of the excess water so it will be good to use in the muffins.
