A stripe tee can really be one of the most versatile clothing items in your closet. With the right fit, fabric and shape it can be worked into so many different outfits, or even add an unexpected vibe to an otherwise simple look.
I’ve gone through many a stripe tee in my day, and I’m here to share my current front runners as well as show you 3 ways to wear it.
Universal Thread Stripe Monterey Pocket Tee, Daily Ritual Drop Shoulder Tee, and an A New Day stripe tank that I also have in grey! The Monterey Pocket Tee is similar in shape to the Madewell Whisper Pocket Tee but it has a bit more structure to it. The Daily Ritual Drop Shoulder tee is a looser fit, with a scoop hem that is perfect over leggings or front tucked into a pair of jeans. Most of all, though, I wear the stripe tank by Universal Thread and I’m just sorry I don’t have a link for you! It’s very similar to the Old Navy Luxe tanks but I like the fit and fabric of the Universal Thread tank better. The Old Navy Luxe tanks are much too thin for my preference and seem to swing out more than I like too. So now that we’ve gone over my favorite stripe tees, let’s get into the looks!
