#Shelfie: The Skincare Products I’m Using Right Now
My skincare routine changes at the same speed I date: constant and with little-to-no commitment (I’m working on amending both). My current skincare products are as follows:
I alternate between Dr. Barbara Sturm Cleanser ($70), a super gentle, super foaming face wash, and Thank You Farmer Back to Pure Daily Foaming Gel Cleanser ($28), a very light foaming wash for sensitive skin. I was using harsher cleanser last month – ones with salicylic acid and other serious acne ingredients – and my face freaked out and got super pissed at me (a.k.a. it broke out like a teenager), so Barbara (Dr. Barbara Sturm) told me to remove all harsh ingredients from my skincare regimen and allow my skin to heal. For a thrice weekly deeper cleanse, I’m using Dr. Barbara Sturm Enzyme Cleanser ($77), which is actually a powder that foams into a wash when activated with water.
