I always look at the mums on the school yard with polished nails with envy – how do they have the time to do that" How do their manicures look so perfect"  I seldom have time to do my nails plus they chips super fast (I mean, within a day) so I don?t bother.  I could go to a salon but the cumulative cost is too much for me. 
So I was pleased to receive a Red Carpet Manicure Gel Polish Kits (£69.95).  I have had gel nail polish kits before but for whatever reason, they have fallen out of favour (such as the lamp that burned my fingers, or the polish that just peeled off despite being a gel). I was ready for a fresh start with this set!

Here is everything in the kit. You get everything you need to get started, even down to the nail file!
So the steps goes like this. 
1). Use the small nail tool (see below) to buff the nail surface:

2). Use the PURIFY liquid to clean the nail surface. 
3). Use PREP as a base and set (instructions are with the manual. If you press the button on the LED lamp it is automatic). 
4). Apply your polish of choice (two coats if you wish) and set each layer. I could fit 4 fingers under the lamp and my thumbs separately (to give you an idea of how long it might take). 
5). Don?t forget the top coat to set it all!

After you have done all this, you need to use the purify to wipe of the sticky residue and you are left with a super glossy, perfect finish.
