Perfume Gifts
Perfume can be a very tricky gift to give. If you know someone’s a diehard Chanel No5 fan then it’s easy-peasy (and if you can find their sumptuous new Body Oil in stock anywhere, get it – it’s gorgeous). If you don’t know what their preference is, here’s some ideas which might work for anyone.
Perhaps a new brand to many people, Atelier Cologne have developed a collection of interesting, often quirky fragrances. A fun way to try them would be a collection of miniature sizes – available as seven 7.5ml minis for £90 or four 4ml minis for £25.
I really liked the idea of this Boots sample set, £40 – six fragrance samples to test, plus a voucher to buy a full size bottle of the winning perfume after Christmas. For someone getting into fragrance, it could be a fun place to start.
For a luxe fragrance enthusiast who’d like to try a recent launch, Louis Vuitton released their first fragrances since 1946 this year. Individual fragrances are £180, but the presentation case of miniatures of all seven perfumes is an utter thing of beauty (£230).
At the other end of the price scale, the Travalo is one of the best beauty gadgets ever invented and would work for anyone. A small spray that can be filled and refilled from a favourite scent, it’s a perfect stocking stuffer for £5, here. Available in a selection of colours, so favourites can be colour coded (just me").
