My Favorite Place to Save on Clothing
I first discovered thredUP a few years ago and since that time it became one of those websites I checked regularly to see what was available. It’s kind of exciting to click through and see what new arrivals they have! The prices are just so good it’s hard to pass up when you find something you are looking for, or frankly even something you may not know you were looking for! thredUP is the largest online consignment and thrift store where you can find items for up to 90% off retail.
This is especially perfect for me right now because I can find items that are from brands I know and trust, and that I feel comfortable in with my postpartum body. There are also a lot of great maternity options on thredUP as well. Basically, they have something for just about everyone. There are over 35 thousand brands on thredUP, and if I’m totally honest I didn’t’ even know that many brands existed in the world. Imagine a mall with 35,000 stores, but each of those stores has their items available in great condition for a fraction of the price. I’d totally shop at that mall. And if consignment or thrift stores make you twitchy (I always picture disorganized warehouses that could take hours to go through), don’t write off thredUP without looking first. You can search by brand, like Vince, Kate Spade or GAP, or simply an item description. There is a designer section as well if you’d like to narrow your search to a particular range of items.
