maxi dresses to get you through the summer
dress, earrings
The moment I laid eyes on this maxi dress at Target I knew it was going to be a winner for me. You may realize that I tend toward neutral tones and softer colors (if any) so this feels like a step out of my comfort zone in a way. I’m loving the Nordic-inspired patterns I’ve been seeing around recently!
I wore this dress for a dinner party, but can already see myself wearing it to the Farmer’s Market on a Saturday morning too. It’s simple, light, and easy to wear. The material is wrinkle-prone but it’s supposed to look that way a bit.
I picked a few other great maxi dresses to look into for summertime!

It can be totally casual and easy, or dressed up a bit for a nicer event. It all depends on the accessories, makeup, and how your hair is styled.
To me, a ponytail or messy bun paired with simple jewelry and flat sandals is the perfect casual way to wear a maxi dress. For date night I’d add wedges, style my hair down, and find some statement earrings to dress it up a bit more.
