Makeup Brush Gift Sets
Christmas Gift Guide Day Five
I genuinely feel a nice set of makeup brushes is one the nicest gifts you can give. They can be both beautiful and practical, and will definitely outlast the After Eights. Here’s my favourite sets this year.
Not only is this travel brush set from Bobbi Brown, £89, completely gorgeous, it contains one of the best brushes of all time: the Full Coverage face brush.  This is the perfect travel set with pretty much everything you’d need.
This set, from Laura Mercier (£70) is a better set to keep in a handbag for touchups of blush, concealer and eye makeup. The interior of the brush roll is leopard print, which as we all know is scientifically proven to make anything 150% better (probably). Charlotte Tilbury has a similar set (Magical Mini set, £45) that’s also great for touch ups with four brushes in a clutch case.
For the ultimate brush collection, this case from Zoeva has 25 brushes for £170. Unless you’re a pro, you probably don’t need 25 brushes but let’s gloss over that, as it would be an amazing thing to open on Christmas Day. Zoeva brushes are great, and they do a huge selection of different brush kits if the full on pro kit is a bit over the top.
I mentioned in the gift guide for teens that Boots have great value sets of Bold Metals brushes – the Ultimate Set at £120 (on offer at £50 at the time of writing) for seven brushes, or two kits of three brushes at a brilliant £2...
