How To Take Good Blog Photos On Your Own
Photography never used to be my strong point. It was always the part I didn't really enjoy about blogging, and I always used to think that you could only take good blog photos if you had someone else to help you. For a good few years, I'd believe that because I didn't have a full time photographer working with me, I'd never be able to get my blog photos to a high standard. I'd browse through Instagram, Pinterest or other blogs, and think 'agh if only I could take photos like that!' I'd use the fact that it was just me as an excuse, and that I was rubbish at taking photos and that was that.
However, over the past 18 months or so, I feel like I've really upped my blog photography game, and in a weird turn of events, I enjoy taking photos the most now. When I look back on what my blog photos used to look like and now what they look like, I do feel very proud of myself. Anyways, in today's post, I thought I'd share some of my tips for creating blog photos on your own, these small things have really helped me out and helped to improve my blog photos, and I'm kinda annoyed I didn't think of these things earlier!
1. Tripod
Okay so this is probably the most obvious thing to use when you're taking blog photos on your own, but I rarely used to use mine. These days, I use it a lot, especially when I'm in the picture. Tripods are super cheap on places like Amazon and I'd definitely recommend getting one as it does help when you don't have someone to take photos for you.
