I?m lucky enough to be in a position where I can bring a great but little-known product or a miracle ingredient some wider attention. But whatever I stumble across, of course, someone else will be quick to tell me they discovered it first. Alongside the Mineralizing Water (which pootles about some 4000 metres underground, picking up some fifteen minerals on the way before surfacing), the Aqualia range contains active ingredients designed to maximise the skin?s retention of water, including hyaluronic acid. Products that promise to hydrate can?t create water out of nowhere, but a good one will effectively hold on to what?s already there, and in the case of hyaluronic acid it will hold many times its own weight in water, leaving skin feeling smooth and plump.
