Fruit Salsa with Cinnamon Sugar Dippers
Fruit Salsa is one of those desserts that I never have leftovers of after I serve it. It’s such a simple thing, and so ridiculously easy to make, and everyone seems to love it.
You can switch up what fruit you include in the “salsa”, but here are a few tips to consider as you choose:
Pineapple will make everything around it taste like pineapple, so only use that if you are a big fan.
Melon tends to be a strong flavor as well, except for watermelon.
Try to pick a variety of color!
When I made this recently, I completely forgot to pick up a kiwi at the store. I think it would have been much prettier with some bright green kiwi in it, but it still tasted great! I used fresh, seasonal fruit so it didn’t require any sweetener!
Fruit Salsa with Cinnamon Sugar Dippers For the salsa:
Strawberries
Raspberries
Blueberries
Apple (peeled)
Kiwi
Any other fruits like melon, pineapple, oranges, banana that you love!
For the cinnamon sugar dippers:
5 tortillas
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
Set your oven to 375 degrees. Spray each tortilla with cooking spray, or lightly brush with oil or butter, on one side. In a small bowl, mix cinnamon with sugar, then sprinkle over tortillas. Poke each tortilla a few times with a fork to allow air to escape while they bake!
Place in the oven for about 4-9 minutes, depending on how hot your oven is! Keep an eye on the first batch to test-you are looking for them to fluff up a bit and become crisp without brownin...
