Time has flown over the last seven months; looking at the photos hung up around our home I know I couldn't have hoped for a better day shared with our loved ones. Josh and I have now been a married couple for as long as we were engaged, and to be honest I'm not sure where the last months have flown. So much of 2017 was spent planning, organising and then processing, that before we knew it the Christmas tree was up and we were ready to say goodbye to the year that we became man and wife. Although I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of being engaged and planning a wedding, I wasn't sure what to really expect of the day itself; you spend such a long time organising the details and itinerary, but few of us know really what to expect of our wedding day - past the superficial elements we have control over. If you're a bride-to-be, or have a loved one in the process of planning a wedding, here are some of the things I wished someone would have told me and what to really expect of the day you say 'I do.'
