Christmas Gift Guide Day Two
I think bath and body gifts should feel luxurious (although they don’t always need to have a luxe price tag – I’ll be looking at the very best on the High Street later in the month). I’m more of a shower person than a bath person, normally using whatever shower gel is on special offer, so I’m always delighted when someone gifts me something which feels lovely on my skin and makes the bathroom smell amazing. This year, these products make the cut.
Rituals always make something gorgeously scented for Christmas and this year it’s their limited edition Ritual of Light collection, fragranced with sweet orange and cinnamon. I particularly liked the Shower Foam (£8.50) which lathers into a really rich mousse – there’s also a body scrub, bath foam, body cream and home fragrance.
For a bath lover Therapie’s Joie bath infusion (£48) is a unusual treat that smells beautiful and comes in a reassuringly hefty glass jar. It’s a powder that both softens and exfoliates – don’t expect loads of bubbles – and with frankincense and cedar wood is perfect for a cold January evening. We’ve no doubt recommended Aromatherapy Associates bath oils before, but no apologies for recommending them again this year.
