Is it me or did Anastasia Beverly Hills come out of NOWEHERE!"! Yes, she's been the brow queen for years (YEARS!) but her color cosmetics line launched with relatively little to no traditional marketing efforts and has become big business solely due to digital. More on that here. It also helps when the makeup is bomb.com. When I saw the beauty community on Instagram and YouTube run to pick up the Self-Made palette ($35), I was kind of over it.
While I LOVE her eyeshadows and her previous palettes impressed me, the shades in this one didn't really speak to me. Until I saw it in person...
In the beginning, I thought all of these shades were in previous palettes (looking at your Morocco) but they weren't. Hallelujah! There are fourteen shades that range from neutral taupe to obsidian black. As always her shadows are richly pigmented with little fallout. If you're a fan of mostly matte palettes, than this might disappoint you as there are only three matte shades here. That said, the matte shades available are gorgeous (e.g. Hot Chocolate which would be a great outer crease color).

Pink Champagne: rose gold with a titanium finish
Metallic Plum: dark plum with a metallic finish
Self-Made: deep bronze with a satin finish -- GORGEOUS!!
Witchy: khaki gray with a sparkle finish
Blush: light beige with a duo chrome pink finish
Blossom: lilac pink with a metallic finish
Buttery: buildable beige with an ultra-matte finish
Deep Purple: amethyst purple with a titanium fini...
