Another month, another week in my life! I fear I may have gone on about being tired just a little bit too much in this one, if the comments on Youtube are anything to go by. The thing is, moaning about how tired you are is addictive, especially when you’re…really really tired. You just want everyone to know all about it – not for the sympathy, because I’m actually not great with being on the receiving end of sympathy – but to explain why you’re a bit off your game. Not firing on all cylinders.
I like to think that talking about your tiredness acts as a sort of disclaimer – “this is why I’m not my usual sharp(ish), productive self“ – but when I really analyse it, it probably has the opposite effect. I can imagine that people are eye-rolling themselves into backwards somersaults every time I mention it. So I’ll stop – I’m going to be perky as a kids’ TV presenter from now on. Here’s a little glimpse into my world for a week – a tree house trip (lucky me!), a hair cut, lots of work and very little sleep. (Sorry, just had to slip that complaint in one last time. Ha.)
