*Sponsored PostLast Thursday, my sister and I were invited along to Ladies Day at Royal Ascot with the lovely team at Dove. I've never been to Ascot before, so was really excited for a fun day out with my sister and my first experience of this legendary British event.Dove invited us along in celebration of their 'invisible dry' deodorant, which has been tested against white marks on over 100 colours, so we both came along in our most colourful dresses to put it to the test! Ascot Ladies Day was the perfect event for it, as it's the most wonderful place for people (and fashion!) watching, with women sporting their most colourful, outlandish outfits (all with matching hats and headpieces, naturally!)
I chose a simple, coral pleated midi dress from Warehouse, paired with lots of layered necklaces (from J Crew and Forever 21), a gold chain belt from Biba, my nude Ted Baker heels and my latest handbag obsession... my cream Chloe Drew Bag. I also wore a big bow headpiece that I found in TKMaxx last summer, personally I would have loved to go all out and wear a huge hat, but having travelled straight from the airport after an overnight flight, I was pretty limited on what I could fit into my suitcase!My sister wore a nude and pink lace dress from Forever Unique, Nude Snakeskin heels from Freya Rose and a cream floral fascinator from TKMaxx.
