6 Ways To Make Your House Cosy In Time For Winter

I am a total homebody. I love being at home, snuggled up on the sofa, and yes news just in - I am a Grandma but hey whatever.
Because I spend a lot of time at home, I like my house to be as cosy as possible. I feel like over the years, I?ve got a bit better at making a house homely. When I think back to our old house in Southampton, I remember how I used to get frustrated at the lack of cosiness, although it was very small, I could never get that real cosy homely feel, and I didn?t really know how to do it.
Though recently, and thanks to the likes of Pinterest, I feel I?m getting there and I?m really happy with how our house is looking at the moment.
Although our house still needs a bit of work, we?re getting there slowly but surely. We?ve recently finished our living room and I?m so happy with it. Previously thanks to floral wallpaper, a very bulky gas fire and blue curtains, the room didn?t feel like us. I think Henry got fed up of my constant moaning, as when I returned from a long weekend in Nuremberg last year, he?d redecorated the lounge. We?ve finally added a few finishing touches that have really transformed our living room, and with Christmas just around the corner, yes that?s right, I said it. I feel like the room is looking perfect for cosy evenings in and I can?t wait to get the Christmas tree up. Yep one very keen bean over here.
