4 Things You Can Do To Be More Confident

Being confident is something that I have struggled with as I have gotten older. When I was younger, I seemed to have ooodles of confidence and didn't really care too much about what other people thought about me. Now that I am in my twenties, I have found that my confidence has slightly dipped. It's hard sometimes to not beat yourself up when you look in the mirror, and give yourself a bad time, but to be honest, I have had enough of being so mean to myself and well at the end of the day why do I not want to be my own BFF rather than my enemy"
So I've been working on my self-confidence and here are some tips that I've been using. I thought I would share them with you, in case you're going through something similar and want to stop being so mean to yourself.
1. Remember Not Everything Is What It Seems: the internet and social media is definitely a big driver I think for my low self-confidence some times. It's so easy to look on Instagram, and YouTube and see what seems to be perfect people. Flawless, toned, tanned girls that make you feel like Quasi Modo, but what we have to remember is that most things on social media are edited. We only show the good things, (and our good sides) with more apps than ever that can help you fake a flawless complexion, and although not everyone edits their selfies and so forth, we have to remember that we only see THEIR best selfies, yet we see OUR good and bad sides.
